9. Thomas Arnold (1649-1726)

Thomas Arnold, the son of unknown parentage, was born about 1649. He married Grace Doyle. She was the daughter of John Doyle and Mary, she was born about 1663 in Va. According to werelate.com Thomas married Grace around 1679. She died in 1732 in King George County. Thomas's estate was settled in May of 1726, also in King George County.

It is believed that he is one of the first Arnold's in Virginia, transplanted here around 1662. At this time, I can not with certainty say where he was born. I am unable to find a record of birth for him to even indicate if he was born here, in a new colony; or if he was actually born in a Mother Country, and traveled here at an early age. Many researchers believe Thomas had a brother named James, but I am unable to confirm. These are the records I can find....

Mention of his already established property line around 1677...
